The East Hampton Early Childhood Council is an independent group of volunteers, parents and professionals who have come together to create opportunities, share resources, and implement strategies to prepare East Hampton's young children for school success.

Second Step



As a part of the Early Links goal of prevention, the Second Step program has been implemented in East Hampton preschool and nursery school programs since 2005.  Second Step is a social-emotional curriculum proven to reduce aggression in children while promoting their empathic, problem-solving, and emotion management skills.  For more information, visit the Second Step website.
