The East Hampton Early Childhood Council is an independent group of volunteers, parents and professionals who have come together to create opportunities, share resources, and implement strategies to prepare East Hampton's young children for school success.

Kindergarten Readiness

Local nursery and preschool teachers work with education professionals at Memorial Elementary School to help bridge the transition into Kindergarten.  The ECC provides readiness literature to parents of preschool children.  State and local kindergarten readiness requirements and recommendations are incorporated into the preschool curriculum.
