The East Hampton Early Childhood Council is an independent group of volunteers, parents and professionals who have come together to create opportunities, share resources, and implement strategies to prepare East Hampton's young children for school success.

East Hampton Public Library

Visit the 2012 Preschool Expo this Saturday, January 21 from 10:00-12:00 at the East Hampton Public Library.

The East Hampton Public Library sponsors reading and craft programs for preschool-aged children.  The Library also reaches out to nursery school and preschool programs in town by providing special enrichment programs, monthly librarian visits, and periodic book deliveries.


The library offers a range of drop-in story hour programs according to the following schedule:
12-24 months Wiggle & Giggle, Mondays & Fridays @ 10 a.m.
Ages 4-6, Story & Craft, Tuesdays @ 6:30 p.m.
Age 2, Wednesdays @ 10 a.m.
Age 3, Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Age 2 Story & Craft, Thursdays @ 10 a.m.
Ages 3-5, Fridays @ 1 p.m.
